Hodges went to Wells to day to visit at the home of her father-in-law, Mr. Hodges, who is seriously ill. . Mr. JohnAllphin left yesterday after noon for North Yakama, to spend the summer with his brother Mr. A. J. Allphin. The United Artizans will have a so cial session after regular meeting, and everv member should be present, as there will be a good time. Miss Else Conn returned last evening from Portland where she has spent the last month studying millinery and will resume her work at the Bazar. Thirty three years ago there was born in log cabin in Missouri, one des tined to be known from California to Washington and back again. His name is Mike Gross. Davis, recently of this city, has opened a paper hang ing office at 496 10th street and is doing well. - G. A. R. Social. The ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic will give a St. Patrick's social at the G. A. R. hall on Perry street Fri day evening March 17, 1905.
