NEW TELEPHONE LINE FOR CATCHING SLOUGH The people of Catching alough have been discussing the need of a telephoor lino along the alough from Sutnnrr down, and a meeting wai held Frld y at Ut.ity chapel for tbo purpose of nak ing preliminary arrangementa to eel the halt rolllm. A commit teo waa appointed to make arrange ments therelor, consisting of p. G. Wilaon, Geo. Uot and W. C. Harrie. It is proposed to bring the line into central ofllco in Marahfleld, making It practically a part of tho telephone ays tern of th Bay. A switching fee will be paid to the telephone company and the phones will bo rented of them. Some money will have to be raisoi for the construction of the lino and for a cable across Iatbmua alough at the Bay city mill, and Marahfleld merchants will probably bo given a chance to help thi enterprise, which they can well afford to do.
