The Dram - group have stage I
three plays this year and proceeds
from these productions have fin
anced all the speech trips with a
balance on hand to start another
year. The ‘‘Jerome"’ award for the
best male performance and one for
the best female performance will be
presented again this year. A trophy
will be given to each of three win
ners together with a plaque with the
names of the winners for display
in the trophy case. Three one-act
plays were given as an honorarium
for Wink Newnham. The speech
and drama groups gave two dances,
and sold Crater High decals.
In addition to the winners whose
names have been given, sixty-five
other students have received speech
and dramatic training and have had
considerable classroom participation
in both.
