IMS PAGE FIVE Sportsmen’s Club Holds Annual Election The Central Point Sportsmen's club met at their club room on the Jacksonville highway for their an nual election of officers. Steve Benson presided at the meeting, Following are the new of ficéis chosen for 1949: Harry Elden, president, (unani- mous choice); John Wisely, vice president; Jim Ross, secretary- treasurer; Directors, Bert Peck, Don Faber, Mervyn Gleason, Sr., George Vangalder. It was voted to change the month ly meeting night to the 3rd Wednes day in each month. Plans were made for the annual shoot with the Medford Gun club. George Vangalder was chosen cap tain for the occasion and John Wiseley, Lieutenant. Pictures were shown by Bert Peck, with the films donated by the Xnders’ Photo shop. Following the meeting an elaborate lunch was erved by a committee consisting of Bert Peck and the Gleason boys, Merv and Jim. About fifty members attended the meeting.
