OREGON, | Program by Bible Bible School To School Student* at Give Program at Brick Church Church of Christ Daily Vacation Bible School pro gram will tbe given at the Church of Christ this evening, June 14. The children will demonstrate something of the work that they have been do ing during the past two weeks. Memory work, songs, choruses, dra matizations, finger plays, etc., will be included in the program. Handwork will be displayed. Parents and friends are cordially invited. John and Joy Bigham, Patsy and Billie Sullivan, and Margaret Beach. ♦ ♦ ♦ At least the worries and trlbula- tions which have almost driven us Crazy (or at. least more crazy than usual) for the last three months are over, at least for the present, We don't mean that the new shop is finished, by any means, for it is far from that, but the inside Is done, at least far enough for us to move in. Now the fun begins, trying to re member In which box we put things when packing up. You folk« who have gone through a simple house moving will understand that. The Only difference being that a print shop always gathers about four times ns many small articles as the average family would in two life times. So don’t expect to find a spik.and-span shop when you call on U«—at least not for a couple of months or so. For we want t al our frien ds to come on dow n and see our new quarters. This w •rlter has spent mor«» or less of his time for over fifty years in print shops, large and small. In all parts of rhe Northwest. No wonder that he had I’retty definite ideas as to Just what a printer needs. He, Hke all the rest of the printers, had often said. “Just wait until I build MY shop, and I won't have this, or I will have that." LEAVES FOR TULSA— Mr. Stanley Jones left today for Tulsa. Oklahoma. where he will be married to Miss Jean Brook of New York. Miss Brook's folks just re cently moved from New York to Tulsa. Parents and friends are urged to attend. The school has been undenominational in character and is being regarded as one of the best conducted at the Brick Church in recent years. The teaching staff has ibeen under the direction of Mr. Douglas Field, assisted by Misses Myrtle and Doris Amundson of Simp, son Bible Institute, Seattle. Burick ba« purchased Mrs. William Skyrman'R property (better known as the Goldsberry place) and expects to go to Portland to meet his wife and baby Fredrick Francis, who will arrive there from Albany, New York June /9. They expect to occupy their new house by then. Dr. Burick will have an office in Medford, ulso one with adequate sup plies at his home in Central Point. Dr. Burick came front Minnesota and graduated from the University Of Medical School in 193*!, wag in terne in St. Vincent hospital, one year in Providence training patholo gy. He then went to Albany, New York for 2 years, resident in surgery practice. 2 years in Laramine, Wyo. He served in the army 3 years with the 11th Field Hospital 2nd surgical on ground treating important major casualities.. lie landed in Ciclly af ter D Day, Italy after war opened there and South France on V Day and in Australia and Germany until the finish.
