Mr. and Mrs. A. 8. Sette 11 and family have moved into the Price house. The city hall is all dressed up In a new coat of kalsomine and paint and look pretty swell. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Martin and lit tle daughter Penny of Graeagle ar rived Friday morning and are visit ing their parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lees, and Mr. and Mi's. Paul Martin. They do not expect to return to Gra eagle but will locate elsewhere. Mr. and Mrs. Worth Miller from Cypress, former residents of Copco, Calif., are visiting friends in the val ley. Mr. Miller la on a hunting trip, with Mr. Pike of Gold Ray plant. The Millers are old friends of the Dor lands and will visit at the Dorland home. Bert Peck and Harry Elden return ed with a three point buck from the Tarker Meadow Sunday. The high school boys are going to Roseburg for the first game of the •canon Friday. Here's luck to them. This is a good time to order ski shoes. See them at Faber'«. Mrs. Molile Harrison has been very busy looking after her property in Gold Hill. She states that she has put about 7o<> dollars of improve ments on it. She plans to start on her Central Point home and remodel It. She made a trip to Gold Hill Tuesday. Bobbie Hoagland has returned to Oregon state college. Postmaster and Mrs Tom Pankey- returned from a month trip to Neb raska to visit Mrs. Pankey's sister Monday evening. They report a very pleasant trip. They drove through one dust «form where they had to turn the car light on. they could see the lights when near the other car but could not set* across the street. She even had the guests eat ing with chopsticks. The Rossi Motel Lunch room is closed. Msg. Dallaire's daughter re turned to Corvallis to attend Oregon State college and Mrs. Dallaire was needed at home. Mr. and Mrs. Siikwood and Mrs. Ida Mathews of Longview were week end guests at the Maple home. M rs. Eva May Benson and daughter Bar* bara returned home with them. Mrs. Benson Is Mrs. Silkwood's daughter Mrs. Jack Brennen of Porland left Wednesday morning after a few days visit with her sister Mrs. Cliff Smith and family.
