From there they enjoyed a hayrack ride to the old swimming hole and a picnic chicken dinner afteward sitting around the camp fire, visit ing and singing songs until late in the evening. Among those visiting the Gold n Gate exposition from Central Point the past week were the following: Mr. Everett Faber and sister Miss Fiances, H. M. Dorland, Serena E. Dorland, Lois E. Dorland and Mrs. Alida S. Tule. Emil Lange, son of Mrs. Marie Lange has left for San j Antonia, Calif., to make his home. Mrs. Landers had never been at the lake before, so after retiring she decided it was too lovely to stay in bed so she sneaked outside and was there to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Harry Powell when they arrived at about six o’clock. Mrs. Faber, with the assistance of Mrs. Lander and Mrs. Powell, prepared a delicious breakfast of hot biscuits, bacon and eggs and all the trimmings. Next came the work of routing the boys out of bed. Boat- ing in a motor boat and two other boatB, swimming, fishing and visit- iiiK made the day pass all too swift- ly. Another big feed was enjoyed late in the afternoon. Faber cabin has a large main room about 14 by 20 feet with a kitchen and dining room combined. A large screen porch facing the lake and another screen porch on the back having sleeping accomodations for twenty. Mr. and Mrs. Al Bendickson are parents of a baby girl born Satur day morning at 12:30 o’clock. Baby weighed 7 pounds- Mother and daughter are doing fine. They are at their home on McAndrews road.
