Visited Klamath. — Miss Mild red Paige spent Sunday in Klam ath Falls visiting friends. Miss Paige is employed in the Plaza confectionery in this city. From Grants Pass. — Mrs. Mary Brown of Grants Pass spent the week-end visiting Mrs. Ida Neil and Miss Anna Hargrove on Pioneer street. Visiting Relatives. — Mr. and Mrs. James Hughes are spending a few days with Mr. Hughes’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes on Oak street. They are returning to their home in Eu gene after spending several weeks in Tiajuana. ------------------------------------------- & & S O C IE T Y Social Meeting o f American Legion Au xilia ry — A social meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary was held Monday night at Pioneer hall, complimenting past presidents of the Auxiliary who have so faithfully served during the past seven years. Past president pins in gold will be pre sented to the past presidents in appreciation o f their work. Mrs. Edwin Dunn, president of the Auxiliary presided over the meeting, calling upon M t s . Earl Crow to give a brief resume of the American Legion Auxiliary since its beginning in 1921. At that time, Mrs. Littlefield was president, being succeeded by Mrs. P. K. Hammond. Other past presidents who were honored were Mrs. Wolcott, Mrs, S. A. Peters Jr., Mrs. Clyde Malone and Mrs. John Enders.
