The increased levy was made necessary by the intersection paving bonds and interest which must be provided for and which amounts to almost half the total levy. The levy is segregated as follows: Regular city funds, 8.5; interest on intersection bonds, 2.8; improvement assessment, (intersection paving! 3.8.
