The “trusts,” that cunningly laid system of robbing the toiler and starving his wife and babes, that church blessed form of gambling which raises the prices of life’s necessity and lowers the price of toil, is now at the full meridian of its glory; but there is a rumble in the east, a cloud arising upon the horizon which plainly says that systematic rob bery must fall, and as sure as God reigns a change will be made in the near future, either by ballot or by blood. It is in the power of the people to rem edy the evil by their franchise; let us hope the change will be brought about in that manner. Southern Oregon.
