At the meeting o f the Grange May 23rd another of those excellent dinners was furnished by the ladies of the order. Bro. Meriiman gave a very interesting account o f the meeting of the State Grange. Miss Beatrice Hoagland and Fred Parker were instructed in the work of the third and fourth degrees in the forenoon. After lunch a lecture was delivered on “ The Properties of the Soil” by Mr. Dean, of the Wagner Creek Grange, which was very interest ing and instructive.
