The Rebekahs had a pleasant meeting

Town Board Meets.
The Town Board held a regular meet­
ing Monday evening. Beyond allowing
current bills and other routine busi­
ness but little was done. The board
took an early adjournment in order to
vacate the council chamber to ac­
commodate a nominating caucus which
had been called for that evening to
nominate a ticket for town officers
under the new charter.

Mrs. Martha S. Lee, w ife o f Booth
Lee, and a well known resident o f this
city, died at her home here last Friday
morning after a brief illness o f less
than a week. The cause o f death was

ing her death. She is survived by her
husband and four daughters.

lady o f Eagle Point, who has been
working as a stenographer at San Fran­
cisco for two years, died in that city
last week and the remains were
brought to this place last Saturday for

her in San Francisco, accompanied the
