The early installation of a first-clnsa water system in Central Point seems to be almost certain. The water committee o f the town board have been doing all they could along the line o f getting data from which to base estimates o f coat, etc., but it remained for W. C. Leever, chairman of the board, at the request o f the committee, to secure the informa tion desired. Figures on cost o f pipe, tanks and other necessary material for the work were received by Mr. Leever yesterday and are so conservative as to practical ly assure the success o f the advocates o f a water system here.
