We believe that most of the citizens

the work of the Red Cross, which is
now asking our citizens to enroll as
m em bers for the coming year.
The A m erican Red Cross is c h a rte r­
ed by Congress for a specific purpose,
its chief concern being to take care
of the soldiers and sailors in the serv­
ice of the goxerm ent, particularly in
tim e of v a r. - However, the peace
work of the Red Cross deserves the
suppqpv pf every' one of us.
