Cuahman and wife, north of Moro. Sheriff Hugh Chrisman and wife were in The Dalles Sunday, attend ing the wedding of Mr. Chrisman’s niece in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Krieg who have been spending the week with Mrs. Krieg’s sister, Mrs. A. J. Murray, returned to Hood River over the highway Friday. The total number of students regis tered at Oregon Agricultural college this year is near 3000, of whom 15 are from Sherman county and of these eight are from Moro. Studenta at tending from thia city are registered in home econom1«, commerce, agri culture, pharmacy, and military science and tactics. Arthur B. Christianson, Junior in military science and tactics, is s member of the Scsbbsrd and Blade, national honorary military fraternity. Membership in this fraternity ia (limited to those registered for military work and who have exhibited special qualities of excellence in manhood, scholarship, military at tainment, and academic standing. Christianson is also a member of Alpha Pi Delta fraternity. J. I^e Stewart, junior in the school of pharmacy, will receive a degree as pharmaceutical chemist next June. Stewart is president of the Kappa Psi fraternity and a member of the inter fraternity council. Evelyn Ragsdale, junior in home economies, was manager last year of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, of which she is a member. Owen Les ter, pledge to Theta Nu Phi, Mar guerite Foss, an Alpha Rho pledge, and Opal Powell, all freshman, are registered in the school of commerce.
