Tt»e O b w e rv e r. MORO. OREGON. Owing to continued scarcity of water the city authorities have re quested water users to be conserv ative in its use. The city pump ing station is now working to the capacity of the storage facili ties. but owing to the small reser voir the pump must operate 15 hours each day and having no excess storage there is no chance of a gain in reserve supply. The city needs a new reservoir of large capacity. It must have it to take care of present needs and it is childs* play to talk of a new hotel with nearly all the rooms fitted with private bath and toilet facili ties when we have less water than (he present ne$ds call for. T o top this the city has no use whatever for a laundry or ice plant if the wlter can not be had, immediate ly as the plant requires it. The city council has met the require ments up to this time in an excel lent manner, but the city must go farther yet and provide for an ad equate storage system. SkbgUs by Parcel Past T M P ra a f.'
