Both occupants of the buggy were thrown out, M r. Newton injuring his shoulder and his son receiving numerous cuts from the wind shield glass. The Moore car is reported to have skidded and pushed the buggy nearly 100 feet before coming to a stop on its side with both front fenders, lamps, radiators, etc., smashed up. After A p ril 5 U w ill be too late for another chance to decide,this question. The state highway commission has not an overabundance of funds—when the amount of roads to be built are. considered — and Sherman county decides on A p ril 5th wheth er we want state aid roads or not. Now is the time to secure funds from the state. At a later date the money w ill be appropriated to other road project! and we will only have our own funds.
