I t seems to me th at it is not right, th a t it is wholly improper for any man to sign any agreement or contract which woul^l easily compel him to vote for a man who is not the choice of the people here at home. At the public meeting nnd politi cal speaking held at the court house Wednesday evening, among others Attorney W. H. Rngedale m ads a few remarks and as it is a vindica tion of Hon. John A. Collier, repub lican nominee for district attorney, at the hands of one of his hardest working opponents at the primaries we quote a part of Attorney Rags- 4ale’s remarks wthtch in part was “that the base of fhe enmity against Mr. Collier bus been found to be that be is a fighter for the right and that in the course of several years hack he has run counter to several schemes which as a good citixeu he could not stand for; and that after inveetigatjpg the accusations which had been circulated against John A.
