Sherman County Field Meet and Declamatory Contest » The most interesting and enthusiastic school affair ever held in Sherm an county, took plaee at Grass valley, May 24. The special trains, carrying over tUXTexcursionists from Wasco, Moro, Kent, and interm ediate stations, reached the scene of the meet early in the forenoon. One of the pleasant features of the day was tfie music hv the band composed of members from the fourVompet- ing towns.
