Published by Authority.] [No.7 ] AN O R D IN A N C E to license, tax and reg u’ate certain callings, trade» and em ployment», and to provide for the manner of issuing licenses. The city of Moro doe* ordain as follows— Concluded. Sec. 14. T h at in every license tak en out by virtue of this ordinance, •hall be contained and set forth the purpose, trade, business or profession for which such license is granted^md the name and place o f abode of the person or persons taking out such li cense; and said licenses shall author ize the continuance of the business named therein, at the place named therein, for the term of such license, but shall not authorize the carrying on of such business in any other place, unless the place licensed be closed, and in such cases the recorder shall be notified of the change, and he shall note the same on the record kept by him for such license. I f a peciler, such license shall state w heth er authorized to travel on foot, or w ith one or more animals, the time for which such license is to run, and the date of granting the same; and any person exercising or carrying on such trade, business or profession, or doing any K t for which a license it | required by this ordinance, shall, on demand of any city officer, at his place o f business produce such li cense, and unles he shall do no he may be taken and deemed to have no li cense— and in case any pedler shall refuse to produce his or her license w hen demanded by any city officer, •aid officer may seize the animals, wagons, and contents, or pack, bun dle, pack or basket, ot any person re fusing, and hold the same until the license is produced.
