Bel to n has n o tifie d C hief Justice W il lia m M c A llis te r o f th e Oregon Su prem e C ourt, th a t th e Judges’ R e tire m e n t Fund, created by the 1943 legislature, now has to it« c re d it $34,523 35, as compared w ith $36,823.91 a ye a r ago. The increase in th e fu n d is due to 1961 le g isla tive action increasing the a m ount w ith h e ld fro m judges sal aries, fro m fiv e to seven per cent, and fro m the General Fund, three to fiv e p e r cent.
