A bud vase holding a single rose bud decorated the individual tables from which dessert was served. Bridge was in play at three tables with scoring honors held by Mrs. Pausch, Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Bar num. Mrs. A. F. Balzer won the traveling prize. Others present were Mrs. Don Clodfelter, Mrs. A. A Dunlap, Mrs. D. L. Reynolds, Mrs. Arzell Lemley, Mrs. Herman Peters, Mrs. Eben Kee, Mrs. Har old Eakin and Mrs. Jack Adams. Twenty-three young people of FRIDAT, AUGUST IS, 1961 the Baptist church for their fun night Saturday evening had a hay ride on a truck driven by Elton Eakin. After riding around they ended up at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Blagg where refresh ments of pie, Ice cream and punch were served, followed by short devotions. Mr. and Mrs. Eben Kee were dinner guests Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ar zell I^emley. Mrs. Norris Gilklson of The Dalles, Mrs. Dick Beckman and Mrs. Joe Hammond and daugh ters were visitors Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Brinkert.
