Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Black and
children were here last Friday
until Sunday to visit her parents
Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Pinkerton. A
pre-Thanksgiving dinner was held
at the elder Pinkerton’s home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Powell
w’ere up from Portland last week
end to visit their ranch near
Moro.
Friends of Mollie McLachlan met
at the church last Friday even­
ing to give her a farewell party
prior to her removal to Portland.
The grange was original sponsor
although many helped make the
party a success. During her resi­
dence in Moro Mrs. McLachlan
has been helpful to everyone here
and she will be missed, was said
many times at her party. She has
long been head of the American
Legion auxiliary unit here.

Miss Woods has been busy at­

friends since the eighth of the
month when sisters at the Kappa
Kappa Gamma house at Corvallis
held a spice and recipe shower
in her honor. Mrs. Harold Halley
was sponsor for a linen shower,
Nov. 11 at the Moro church, Joan
Ja?ger gave a surprise shower
and brunch in honor of the bride

Mike Mullck were hostesses last
Saturday at a kitchen shower.

the district meeting in Moro and
other visitations made by mem­
bers through the month. The next
regular meeting will be held on
December 9.
