PAGE 3 SHERMAN COUNTY Moro Personals Mr. and Mrs. Paul Alley left Thursday to pick huckleberries on Mt. Hood. They also met Pauline's parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. Ernest Buell of Roseburg, who joined in the fun of picking and camp ing. They returned home S atu r day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jaeger were hosts at a birthday dinner honoring Joanne Kock, Saturday night. A nother event of the even ing was the announcem ent of the engagem ent of Joanne Gilman and Arden Peters. Those present w ere Mr. and Mrs. Bud Kock and family. Grass Valley; Dan Ten Eyck, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Al ley and family, Arden and Joanne. Dean M artin is home for a weeks stay with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orlow M artin, from army cam p in California. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jo h n ston left last week end for a trip to Calgary, Alberta, to visit and transact some business. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Jones are home this week after spending a couple weeks vacation along the Oregon coast driving slowly to enjoy the cool w eather. Mr. and Mrs. G. Douma left Tuesday for a few cays at the coast expecting to re tu rn in time for the weekend business at the store after which they will go to Camp Sherm an for some more vacation. Mr. and Mrs. John P arker spent a long week end at the beach w here they found it too cool for comfort. Tiny Benson is in a hospital with an infection that must In? treated before he can resume work.
