The county fair is the place to show them off. Every farm m ust have superlative products of some kind; others w ould like to look at, BRING THEM TO THE FAIR SEPTEM BER 1 1 - 1 4 Sherman county has raised the biggest crop in its history in production of wheat per acre. A county-wide average in excess oi forty bushels is phenomenal in a dry land area with large acreages. It was due to good wheat, good farming, iiigh fertiiization-and good rainfall. But, of neces$ity-it was good. The exhibits at the Sherman County Fair should reflect this good crop. The wheat had to be good. Millions of bushels of it are composed of fat, plump kernels that would make a fine showing in anybody’s fair or land products show. We are proud of our county, proud of the crops it raises, proud of the performance of its farmers and we should be proud to exhibit it for all to see. We must exhibit what we have. When it is superlative there is greater reason for showing it off. W e have fine wheat and we hope the display of it crowds the pumpkins and' the carrots clear out of the pavilion come fair time.
