Mr. and Mrs. John DeMoss just returned from visiting their son, George and are here for a few days before going to Bend for the Fourth, then on to Crater Lake, which, in all their travels they have not seen, and back down the valley to attend the Dugger family picnic July 14 at Eagle Fern park near Estaca da. James D. Griggs of Moro, an Oregon State college student, will attend military summer camp this year as part of his training in ad vanced ROTC work at the college. Griggs, a senior in agriculture, will take army ROTC infantry training at Fort Lewis, Wash. The camp started June 22 and will run through August 2.
