It was a swift rapids or falls where Indians netted the rushing salmon to the amazement of visitors from afar; It was the historic meeting place of the trities of Indians who had fished there for more years than the white men have known. Now it is a quiet pool with nothing of its former self. If Celllo meant anything in Indian language or white it meant "tumbling water”.
