The Sherman County Riders met at the home of Fritz Watkins Monday evening, March 25. After the business meeting, places to go for an over night trail ride this summer were discussed. Re freshments were served oy the hostess, Helen Watkins. ' The Junior-Senior banquet set for April 13 has been postponed until May 18 at the Sherman high school. At this banquet the moth ers of the junior class put on the dinner with the sophomore girls serving at the tables. The seniors and their parents and the juniors are the guests together with the faculty. Mrs. Don Macnab is in The Dal les hospital after undergoing sur gery last week. She Is reported getting along very well. Mrs. Kate Hollinger was releas ed from the hospital Saturday. She is staying at the home of her son and wife Mr. and Mrs. Ken neth Hollinger. Kenneth secured a hospital bed from the American legion Auxiliary of Wasco for his mother’s use. Mrs. Hollinger who broke her hip and arm last January can only get around on crutches. Mrs. W. M. Franklin and dau ghter Grace visited In Nampa, Idaho recently. They report that Rev. Franklin is improving and that Jim is doing well at North west Nazarene college. Next Sunday evening at 8 at the Wasco Methodist church the Rev. She showed slides and gave a taik about her visit to the Holy Land which were extremely entertain ing. A trio was sung by Richard Bruner, Mrs. Martin Pshlgoda and Carmen Royse, accompanied by Betty Haven at the piano. Barbara Fridley played a piano solo.
