Smith, Mrs. Frank Ketter, Mrs.
Kendrick Dunlap, Mrs. Paul Sy-
ron, Mr». John Rust and Mrs.
Hooper. Guests included Mrs. Joe
Bibby, Mrs. Nell Swick, Mrs. Al
fred K w k and Mrs. Bob Marvin of
Moro. The hostess served refresh
ments at the close of the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ulagg were
business visitors in The Dalles
Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Syron spent
the weekend at Seaside.
Linda Perrlgo of Astoria, who
Is visiting her grandparents Mr.
and Mrs. Frank T. Bayer, celebra
ted her 11th birthday Saturday
when 'her grandm other and her
aunt, Mrs. Claud1 Bayer, invited
her friends and relatives in for
the afternoon at the Claud Bayer
home.
Enjoying the afternoon

ghters, Ixirraine and Ix>u Ann,
Mrs. H. N. Itiggs and daughters,
Peggy and Marjorie, Mrs. Willard
Rolfe and children, Danny and

lia and Byron Bayer, Alfa Jean
and Lots Payne and David and

playing games and after Linda

birthday cake, Ice cream and
punch were served.

ess to the bridge club at her home
Thursday with a 1:30 dessert
luncheon followed by bridge at
three tables. Mrs. Eben Kee held
high, Mi's. A rt Bibby second and
Mrs. Donald Clodfelter low. Mrs.
Aifreu Kock won the traveling
prize. O thers enjoying the after
noon were Mrs. W alter Davis,
Mrs. Ted Kelly, Mr*. A. A. Dunlap,
Mrs. Nell Sw kk, Mrs. Harold Ea-
kin, Mrs. A. F. Balzer and Mrs.
Ixjy Cochran of Moro.
Mr. and Mrs. John Rust went
to Fairview Friday where they
were overnight guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Glenn Perry. They went to
Portland Saturday to visit their
son in law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Rex Ridhards. Sunday they
all attended the Hayes family re
union held at Clarksville park, re
turning home that evening. Mr.
and Mrs. H. O. Dugger w ent to
Clarksville Sunday to attend the
Hayes reunion.
Hollis Marple of Oregon City
spent last weekend as a guest at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Cox.
Mrs. A1 Roberts and daughter,
Linda, of Corvallis spent a week
recently vistlng her parents Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Cox. Mr. Roberts
and sons came Saturday, all re
turned home Sunday.

Dalles Monday.

Beach Friday to spend several
days visiting her jxarents, Mr. and

and they left on a trip to El Dora
do Springs, Mo., w here they will
spend a month visiting relatives.
