Harold Eakin and son, Harry Dean, Alton Olds and Jim Jones went to the Metolius Saturday on a fishing trip over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Olds and son, Robin,, John and Barbara Alley, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ziegler and son Carl,t and dau ghter, Ina lilax, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ziegler Jr., Herman Peters, Dorothy Wilson, Evelyn and Yvonne Klrkelie of Moro all went to Bear Springs Sunday where they enjoyed a picnic din ner. Election of of ficers was in order With the fol lowing elected: Mrs. Robert Ta tum was reelected president and Mrs. Marcus Eslinger was re elected secretary: Mrs.. John Buether was elected first vice- president, Mrs. Kenneth^Hattrup, second vice-president, Mrs. Theo, von Borstel, treasurer, Mrs? J. E. Norton, historian; delegates to attend the convention at Seaside September'1341 and 15,‘ were Mrs. A. A. Dunlap, Mrs. Wallace May and Mrs. Theo, von Borstel, alternates were Mrs. William Pausch, Mrs. Ed Alley and Mlrs. Kenneth Hattrup. This was the final meeting until fall. Refresh ments were served by the host ess at the close of the meeting. Ivan Blagg drove to Lebanon Friday evening and spent the week end with hfs parents in law, Mr. and MrS. JerTy Coyle.
