children went to The Dalles
Saturday to visit fiis mother,
Mrs Ed Alley at the home of her
sister, Mrs Gus Smith. She re
turned home from Kansas where
she spent several weeks with her
daughter, Mrs Wayne Karnes
and family. Mr. Alley* Is still in
Kansas with his daugther.
Mr and Mrs John Block and
Mrs John Hays were business
visitors in The Dalles Monday.’
Mr and Mrs Don Smith and
son, Larry, went to The Dalles
taking his mother, Mrs Gus
Smith to Portland for medical
attention. The Smith’s returned
home Saturday.
