OREGON Experimental Staff Attends Three Day Agronomy Meeting In Pullman George Mitchell and Bill Hall were in Pullman, Wn., the first of the week to attend the meet ing of the western agronomy section which met there the first three days of the week. Mr and Mrs John Foss, Mr And Mrs John A. Others making the cruise were Mr and Mrs Arthur Sar gent of Wasco, and Mr and Mrs Fred Hennagin, Jack Hickson, and Mrs Julia Woods of Port land. _ George Ames brother of the late Mrs Hock man, is reported very ill at Centralia, Wash. Clarence Sparling and daugh ter Donna Kay, came up from Portland Tuesday to see the elevator going up and to visit relatives and friends a few days. Clyde Gillmor and Wilbur Kayse were in Portland the first of the week to get some new highway equipment i Mrs Clem Eslinger and dau ghter Mrs Hugh Rogers and two children were here over the week end visiting Mr and Mrs E. E. Barnum and ' other rela tives. Mr and. Mrs John M. DeMoss left for Hansville, Washington, on Puget Sound Thursday and plan to be there until after July 4th. Mr and Mrs Fred Wal ter .will have charge of the DeMoss park in their absence. Mr: Walter is an employe on the state highway. Collis and David Moore were in Portland Monday to have some medical work attended to. Mrs Echo Bartlett was here from Bend to spend a few days with her sister, Mrs L. L. Peetz and other relatives.
