Boy Has Big Party ■

Mrs Myrl
Smith gave a
party at the city park Wednes
day afternoon' August 11 in
honor of her son. Lowell, who
celebrated his second birthday
anniversary. Those „present in
cluded his grandparents. Mr and
Mrs Del Kakin of The Dalles,
Mrs Ernest Eslinger, Mrs Ernie
Woods and daughter Christie, and
Mrs Donald Martin and children
Donnie and Marcia all of Moro
Mrs T. Lester Johnson and son
from Wasco.

Mrs Charles Perrigo and daugh
ters, Linda and Leslie, Mrs El

The tables were
set under the trees in the park
and a birthday cake for I>owell
and one for Christie Woods
whose birthday was the same
day was the center of attraction
and was served with ice cream
and punch. The children all re
ceived balloons as favors. Little
Ixiwell had plenty of help to
open his gift packages.

Wells will remain a week here
with her parents.
The Masonic lodge conducted
graveside services for Joe Gregg,
who died at Redmond and was
buried at Kent Sunday afternoon.
Mr and Mrs James Earl have
as their guests her brother and
wife, Mr and Mrs E. C. Mor
gan and her sister, Mrs F. L.
Woods and son, Billy, all from
Seattle who arrived Monday and
will stay until Wednesday.

Morgan were Sunday guests at
the home of Mr and Mrs Sam
Stark.

Portland on business.
