Valley attended , the funeral of
their grandiriother, Mrs C. R.
Bruckert in The Dalles Tuesday.

At the card party held at the
Odd Fellow hall Saturday night,
sponsored by the Grass Valley Re
oekah social club, five tables of
bridge were In play with Mrs
Clarence Sparling and lis te r Con-
lee holding high scores ano Mrs
Art Blbby and Glenn Perry low
scores. Four tables of pinochle
were in play with high scores
held by Mrs Norris Gilkison and
Herman Ziegler. Refreshments
were served at the close of the
party.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 104®
evening honoring Mr and Mrs C.
m . Clevenger. Others present were
Mr and Mrs Orville Ruggles and
Mr and Mrs B. C. Baumgartner.
The evening was spent playing
pinochle with Mrs Clevenger and
Mr Baumgartner holding high
score and Mr and -Mrs Orville
