I 1 $20.30 $20.36 Lew On Water; Use Restricted The City of Wasco well has cea ?- ec to pump its usual quantity of water with the result that use of water for irrigaing has been rej- tiicted for the first time in years. The deep well in the fiat has al ways hertofore been a consistent source of supply. Mrs Lydia Darby returned home Sunday from her vacat'on to Port land bringing her daughter. Mrs Kenneth Ferguson and three child ren up with her to remain a week here. v A . -Mr and Mrs Dfebert Johnson and -cn, Gordon, Mr and Mrs William Clothier and daughter, Ann, Mrs Augusta Huckin, Mrs Belle Cloth ier and Gwendolyn and Billie NU- 1 et went to the John Day Sunday for a pcnic. ’ • Here to attend the Maud Akers funeral Monday afternoon were Mrs Ruth HoHoway of Los Angel es, Mr and Mrs Carrol Akers and family of Portland Mr and Mrs Lloyd Hennagin and three child ren, Mrs Wayne Akers o f Eugene, ' Mrs Walter Williams and Mrs 0 . A. Ekstrom of Portland and a large number of people from Moro where ,Mrs Akertf formerly lived. Mr» Andy Shearer and grand son, Billy, are in The Dalles this week. Mr and Mrs A. D. Edgington (■¿me home last week end from Seattle wher* he had been for. several days- Mrs Edgington re turned to the cdty the last of the week. . ■ Willard Harper expects to leave Saturday f o r Brigham, Utah, where he is spending some time in an army hospital having been rent home from England early to June. Miss Georgia Harper has sent in her resignation from the ration office which leaves Mrs Glennn Anderjon alope with the work.
