E- Brown, of G ru w Valley, received a broken leg Sunday when hi» saddle horse kicked him while he was chasing a bow . He had been riding 'for cattle. He was discovered by Mrs Jennie Martin and Mrs Conetanoe Tall man Who were on (their way to the Ernest Blaylock home and who saw M t . Brown waiving in the. field. His son, Max, took the injured man to the Mid-Columbia hospital where it was found that the bone was badly Shattered. Mrs. Ferdinand Stark arrived here Monday from San Francisco, California and was an over night guests at the home of her father in law, Sam Stark. She had been there visiting her husband, who was in port a few days. They w.s- 4ted at the home o f Mr and lira Hadley Stark. Wallace Stark was also a visitor there.
