Former Wasco Residents Sell Property Here A sale of property interest was tiansactod here Monday when the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Wall was sold to Mrs. Emil Anderson. The Walls and daughter, Caroline, were here Monday to settle the deal and after lunch with Mrs. Anna Lee returned to Corvallis. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Barnett who have lived in the Wall house since their arrival in Wasco will move to the Earl Jones house. At a meeting of the Mary Eli zabeth Sunday school class of the M. E. church last week, December 10th was set for the date of the annual Christmas bazaar. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moon and Christina were dinner guests Sun day of Mr. and Mrs. Ajrehie Gosson. Mrs. Elvis Rich is visiting heT parents Mr. and Mrs. Hill at Woodburn. Members of the Standard Bear e n met at the M. E. church Thurs day • evening for games. Twenty three of the group were remem bered with gifts from their mystery mothers. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Van Gild er are planning to leave for Look Out, California Saturday to visit Mks. The Past Noble Grand’s club met with Mrs. John McDermid Tuesday for 'its regular meeting Light refreshments were served by the hostess and a birthday cake in honor of Mrs. G. H. Root, which was a surprise, was greatly en joyed. Mrs. J. P. Yates is recovering slowly and is expected home in about a month. James Howell and wife of Port land were in town Friday. Mrs. Jene Joyal was a week end visitor in Portland. Mrs. Laidlarw of Salem is a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morrow. Mrs. George Moon spent last week visiting her mother, Mrs. de Haven in The Dalles. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hulitx motor ed to Lindsey Sunday from their home in Portland and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Feldman. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dutton with Harley Dutton of Fossil returned Saturday from a visit to Alta Vis ta, Mr. and Bill Burris returned home from Spokane this week. They visited with Ronald Johnson stopping along the way to view scenic places. .«>. Wasco will soon miss some of its most interesting neighbors when Mr. and Mrs. H. H.
