Haslam of Belling ham, Washington is coming to thè Baptist church in Grass Val ley for a series of Evangelistic Services, beginning Tuesday, No vember 2nd. He coinés with the highest of recommendations, hav ing served as a pastor and in the evangelistic field in both Oregon and Washington for the past sev eral years. In his last pastorate of two and a half years at Fern dale, Washington 75 members were added to the church and the Sun day School made a large increase in attendance. Rr-v. Mr. Haslam resigned his pastorate to accept appointment from the National Board of Home Missions for the Baptists to assist in the building op of churches, both in numbers and spirituality, throughout the state of Oregon, where needed. He is known through out the Northwest as a friend to the man in need and a believer in practical Christianity. The meetings with Rev. Mr. Haslam will begin at 7:30 p. m., Tuesday, November 2nd and last through" Sunday, November 14th, except Monday. He will be ac companied by Mrs. Haslam, who will assist with the music. There will be children’s meetings at 4 p. m. and special children’s pro grams on Friday nights. Every one is invited to attend each and all these services. GEORGE G.
