Mrs. Mary Crawford of North Dalles was a visitòr at the Fred Fortner home this week. Fred Fortner returned from Pendleton far the week end, at tending the funeral of Lynden Lucas, brother of Mrs. Fortner. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jones and son Stanley of Boise, Idaho, were visiUng.jn Wasco this week leav ing for their home on Thursday. Dr. Miller and wife visited on Monday night at the W. E. Bruck- ert home. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Bruckert of The Dalles visited at the Gus Hart nun home and also with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bruckert. Cleone Walsh is spending some time visiting with friends at Hub bard.
