Carroll Sayrs is spending a couple
of weeks at the E- C- W. camp in the
Cascade range driving Omer Sayrs’
tractor while Lamer Sayrs recovers
fom the fall that incapacitated him
for a time.
Ferrel Barr and Donald Burnet
were hunting in the Ukiah country
last week but report no luck.
The Keystone class will meet at the

Lamer Sayrs was injured Friday
morning while working for the gov­
ernment in a forest road camp in the
mountains. Ho fell across a log and
hurt his back and hips so that he will
remain in a hospital for several
days-
Vic Barr and Elmer Barsee were
home over the week end from their
government work in the forestry
camps.
Bart Burrel has been hunting in
the mountains east of here for a few
days.
L. L- Peets is still working on his
wood pile in the woods west of
Friend.
Mr and Mrs C. E Deleau, of San
Francisco, spent a few days here on

Mrs. J- C. Freeman and her sister,
Mrs. J. J. Jeffery, accompanied by
