I The annual meeting of the Wasco Investment Company Was held at the Sherman hotel Monday evening. The Dalles and Mr. and Mrs. How ard McWade of The Dalles came up for the meeting. Cleanup day, which was postpon ed until this Thursday on account of the Pythian sister* district con vention last Thursday by the com mittee appointed by Mayor Lucas, was held Thursday morning and af ternoon. The committee consisted of Dr. J. B. Butler and Mr. E. D. McKee. The graduation exercises uf the eighth grade and senior class night will be held in the school auditorium Friday evening at eight o’clock. At that ■ time the American Legion medals will he presented to the most outstanding boy and girl of the 8th grade.
