Blues Bonnie Henderson Acclaimed novelist and former senior meteorolo- gist at the Weather Chan- nel Buzz Bernard will join author Bonnie Henderson in a conversation about earthquakes, tsunamis and the Cascadia fault. The dis- cussion will be held in the Loft at Beach Books (616 Broadway) on Monday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. Bernard is author of the novel, “Cascadia,” which imagines an earth- quake and tsunami in a ictionalized Manzanita. Henderson’ s book, “The Next Tsunami: Life on a Restless Coast,” discusses what we know about plate tectonics and earthquakes in the Cascadia subduction zone.
