I THE CONDON GLOBE PAQE'3 iji'i''.'"' Running Wmttt h Another ' CoMMftMMCa Better Light at Lower Cost Lallcy-Light actually costs less than poorer light. It costs less because of the time it saves and the labor it saves. It costs less because it gives better light for after-night work. ' Because it makes the home more cheerful. ' ' Because its electric power runs the chum, and the separator, and the women can do other needful tasks. Because it enables you to have running water in house and barn. Consider Lai ley-Light as an economy, and you will not be wrong as owners' testimonials show. Qui for the book of these letters, and for a frel demopstra-.tion. There can be no question of the fact that Condon needs a lire Protestant church but the need of having several little, poverty stricken denominations, each one struggling to uphold its own par ticular creed as the essential doc trine of salvation, is not at all apparent Here in Condon we have four established factions of the Protestant faith, each com posed of individuals who refuse to look beyond the narrow con fines of his or her own particular system or form of religious be lief. Each .has its church build ing and keep3 up more or less of an organization at some expense. More regrettable than all, in such division there is weakness when in union there could be strength and if these four could get out of their little rut and get together on some working basis it would not be nearly so difficult to finance a church and be assured of good services every Sunday. These people are all believers in the name God and, so far as wt have been able to discover, the individuals of one denomination are as upright, honest and good as the members of the others It is impossible to believe that the God in whom we all believe has any preference for any indi vidual or sect just because he or they believe in some particular form of baptism or some other equally unimportant system of religious faith or expression. An united and active, Protestant church would be a credit to Con donwhich is more than can be said of the present condition. A joyous Thanksgiving, this of 1918, yet deeply tinctured with thepathos and glory of the white crosses our nation claims upon the fields and hillsides of France.
