f ' ... i if MA. A A I kt I The Condon National Bunk building, which was erected in 1906 at cost of over $20,000, is the: most modernly equipped building in the city. It ia built ', of cement blocks, heated through- out by hot water and lighted by (f-lectricity. Tho second floor is composed of the oillceii of attor- neyi D. IV Parker arfd G. W. Purman, and a number of living rooms, while the Kround floor is tuken up by the Jewelry store of Chas. H. Williams, the Condon Drug Co., the offices of the Kerr, GifTord Warehouse Co., and the Condon National Bank, The in terior of the Bank is finished en tirely in genuine solid black walnut. The Reisacher Building, shown above, is the home of the Famous Reisacher Saddles. It is a two story brick, built by J. F. Reisacher, who conducts a large harness shop. In this building are located, the post office, of which Mr. Reisacher is the official; John Jackson's Con fectionery and Book Store; the Home Telephone office, as well as a number of living rooms. r. t Mm m: The Gilliam County Bank building, the cut of which is shown above, is a handsome two story brick, built in 1905 at a cost of $20,000.00. Since that time it has been the home of the Gilliam County bank, but on the first of the year this institution will be known as the First Na tional Bank of Condon. , On the lower floors are situated the clothing store of Weigel & Co., and the offices of the law firm of Bowerman & Butler, while on the upper floor are the offices of Drs. Wood & Gavey, physicians and surgeons; Dr. B. F.. Butler, dentist, and a number of living rooms. V V .1 J ! -J 4. The Eddon & Harrison Meat Market, owned by Wm. Eddon, Ralph Eddon and Chas. Harrison, occupies one of the best arranged buildings in the city. It was built about two years ago by Wm. Eddon and Jno. Harrison, who had designed a modern meat market with all conveniences. The plans also called for convenient quar era for an ice plant, which was installed last summer by John Harrison. The plant has a capacity of one and a half tons of ice per day and during the past summer proved an important addition to Condon's business en terprises. The Eddon & Harrison meat market has always on hand the finest of Fresh and Cured Meats; Beef, Pork, Mutton and Veal. During the summer their meat storing room is connected with the ice plant, insuring their patrons the best service possible, JIM - ... 4 Residence op F. T. Hurlburt. During 'the past few years the residents of Condon have built better and and more substantial homes. The Gilliam County Milling Co.'s mill, shown below was built in 1906, just after the building of the O. R. & N. branch, and since that time has enjoyed a vast home trade for its flour Premier and Olympic as well as export ing immense shipments to the far East The mill is under the management of Jas. W. Church. The Premier and Olympic brands of flour are Condon pro ducts, made from the choicest blended Bluestem and Club wheats, and makes the best of bread as shown by prizes award ed at the Mayville Fair. The mill is headquarters for all kinds of Mill Feed, Steam Rolled Bar ley and Seed Wheat Residence op D. B. Thomas. J I - The building of the S. B. Bar ker Co., Incorporated, is a large two-story brick, which is exclus ively occupied by the firm and used as a general merchandise store, while several warehouses are necessary to store the large stock of goods carried. The present company was incorpor ated in 1905 by S. B. Barker, , J M. O. Clarke and M. C. Clarke, who were formerly in business - in this city. Under the manage ment of M. O. Clarke this store has grown from the small coun- try store in a frame building to ' '. a modern department store of im- mense proportions and is doing a 'Inbst prosperous business, sup- plying the wants of the ranchers . over a vast territory. . .?
