SAY irSTOO FAH TO HAULCROP
Farmers in 8outhrn Part of
County Ar Willing to Sub
scribe Frly.
A movement is on foot among
some of the farmers of the May
villa and Buckhorn localities to
try to have the Condon branch
of the railroad extended to the
Buckhorn country or at least as
far as the Smith ranch on Thir.
tymlle. They expect to circulate
a subscription paper among the
farmers of those sections and ex
poet to raise at least $2000. Sev
eral of the extensive farmers
who would receive the largest
benefit from this move have al
ready promised large sums,
Chas. Hein, one or the pro
moters of the movement, having
promised at least $200. Several!
others have subscribed $100.!
and it is reported that they will
have no trouble in raising the
required amount
Should this move prove suc
cessful even though the branch
were extended only to the Smith
ranch, it would be a great boon
to those who live south of Thir
, tymile who now, haul their pro
ducts to Condon and they would
be amply paid for the amount
they subscribed by the raise in
value of their land.
