Judge Ellis of Pendleton, candidate for the republican notu'nation for Con gress mini the second district was in town this week in the interests of bis candidacy. The Judge has many friends in Gilliam county and made manr new ones this week. In this issue of the (ilork J. W. Iyer announces that he will again be a cmi.li date cor county commissioner. Mr. Dy er has served the county well in this of fice in the past and there seems to be no one w ho is opposed o his serving the county another term. T. U.
