THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1.1W4 IN A NEH FORM: In an enlarged mid Improved form the (Ji.ohk goes to its reader this December morning carrying with It greetings of good will to every resident of grand old Gilliam county and to every friend who may mean its pageiin whatever county or tate. Rapidly changing conditions in Condon and Gilliam county within the past few months have made nces8ary radical changes in the Glohk plant and these changes have been made only after the ex penditure of a considerable amount of money and a large amount of hard work. While the publixher In pleased with results, so far, he is not yet satisfied with the appear ance of the paper there still being a number of imperfection which will require time, patience and fur ther exponditure of lucre and labor to remedy. For nearly seven years the Globe has been conducted by the present owner and while during a portion of that time its course has been against a turbulent current and among many hidden snags its bus iness has gradually increased until it is enabled to adapt itself to the precent changed condition ol the town. The paper will continue to pull for Condon and Gilliam county with renewed energy and, we be lieve, is in a better position than ever before to do effective work a- long that line. Relieving this as we do we have no hesitancy in asking the hearty cooperation of every cit iron in the work of advancing the material interests of the best little county in the Inland Empire. In the consuniatiou of this work we will all be winners. What more can be said; what more can be ack I n ear Let us not look into the past; it will not return again. Let us im prove the present while it is here and go forward to meet the futnre which is beckoning to us, laden with golden promise. Be Quick.
