' The Sparring Match. The good people of Condon were trent ed lo a "eclentiflc upatring match" last Saturday evening and It wa a corker. Flaring poller had been distributed over the city announcing an eight round glove contest and three round of fancy bag punching. When the performance wa pulled oil" the actor pounded a bag for a few minute and retired. Round two Jim led the fight and Smith bucked off after getting one oil the mouth causing hi lip to swell to an enormoii eixo. After jumping around a good deal the Inner clinched the referee went between them and the gong sound ed and they ruwhed for their comer. Jim looked happy but smith didn't. Then Smith got a swift belt on the end of the none and d'idged out under the rope saying, "Tliet's enough for me," whereupon it wiu announced that the how wa over.
