Kiscr camo in from Clem Sunday after havinn assisted in completing the initial survey to determine tho grade over the lino of the proposed Columbia Inland to Condon. The imrtv succeeded in finding a prac ticable route the grade being but a trifle in excess of 2 per cent. The route pro posed will touch Ole then swing down Ilock creek to "French Charley" canyon and up that canyon to the top of theridge near Clem. A meeting will be held In this city next Saturday at which tlmo the com mittee will make a complete report. A full attendance of all interested in a rail road is desired at this meeting.
