Arrived From Texas. Mr. A. Schaffer and family arrived in town Sunday from Abilene, Tetat, and expect to locate here for the present. Mrt. Schaffer la a litter of the late Bernard Geideof thit place and It it to look after the Interests of that estate that Mr. SchanVr and hi family comes to Oregon. Mr. Schaffer is possessed of considerable property interests in the Lone Star state and he and hit family will no doubt prove a valuable acquisi tion to our community. Killed bheCaVs. Rev. and Mrs. Clark came home Mon day from Hardman, .where they have been for several day. A traveling photograph company of three have their tent stretched in our burg. The town of Spray was their last resting place before coming here. Dr. Luna of Condon hat made a couple of professional vldits to our burg in the last few day to see Mis Georgia Perry, who bat been seriously ill, but, we are pleased to note, i much improved at thia time.
